Our Kusiwaa Oye Ankara Purse is uniquely made. The bag has a fine combination of leather and Ankara Fabric. The wax prints are part of a nonverbal way of communication among African women, and hereby they carry their message out into the world.
The beauty of this design is in the use of the Ankara fabric combined with the leather, bringing a unique contemporary African style. In addition the leather used for this bag is leather scraps from bag making factories in Europe. Therefore, leather has be re-purposed to make these beautiful up cycled bags.
Furthermore, the base of the bag is about 12 inches in length with a width of 5.5 inches and a height of 8 inches from the base to the handle.
Kusiwaa Oye Ankara Purse has beautiful curves and the bronze tone frame gives it a vintage feel as well as a modern feel
